At the Tyler Robinson Foundation, we understand the challenges families face when a child is diagnosed with cancer. That’s why we’re here to provide financial and emotional support, so you can focus on what matters most—your child’s care and well-being. Our Grants & Eligibility Criteria

The Tyler Robinson Foundation is committed to helping families navigate the financial challenges of pediatric cancer. To ensure our support reaches those who need it most, we have established specific eligibility criteria. Before applying for a grant, please review the following requirements:

  • The child must be 0 to 18 years old and diagnosed with cancer.

  • The family must demonstrate a financial need resulting from the cancer diagnosis.

  • The child must have medical insurance or access to medical cost coverage (TRF does not cover medical expenses).

  • The family must not receive significant financial support from other grant-making organizations or crowdfunding platforms.

  • The family must be referred by a social worker from one of TRF’s partner hospitals.

Signature Grant

  • $18,000 per family

  • Funds can be used for non-medical expenses

  • Renewable annually, as needed

  • Maximum of three years of assistance

Travel Grant

  • Must be an active or alumni Signature Grant Family

  • $5,000 per family

  • Used for treatment-related travel expenses including: airfare, lodging, meals, transportation and car repairs or maintenance

Family Fun Grant

  • Must be an active or alumni Signature Grant Family

  • $2,000 per family

  • Allows family to celebrate a treatment milestone or special event

  • Brings a moment of relief during treatment

Path to Heaven Grant

  • Must be an active or alumni Signature Grant Family

  • $5,000 per family

  • Can be used for funeral costs, memorial service, burial/cremation fees, headstone or marker expenses

Our Partner Hospitals

Search for the partner hospital where you are receiving treatment to contact the associated social worker about applying for a TRF grant.
