Sarah’s battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia began in October 2012. Since then, she has faced the unimaginable, eight relapses, two bone marrow transplants, two CAR-T treatments, and multiple rounds of immunotherapy.​ In November 2024, Sarah experienced her most recent relapse.
By spring 2025, her dedicated team at SickKids enrolled her in a trial treatment designed to stop the growth of her leukemia cells. Unfortunately, the trial was unsuccessful, and her doctors are now regrouping to chart the next steps in her treatment.
