Olive is an 8-year-old from Duntroon, Ontario, whose fierce spirit and bright smile have carried her through a journey no child should ever face. She was first diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL) on April 1st, 2020—just as the world was shutting down for the pandemic. At only three years old, Olive endured transfusions, lumbar punctures, countless port accesses, and rounds of chemotherapy, but she faced it all with the bravery of a champion.

For five beautiful years, Olive lived cancer-free. During that time, her family grew with the arrival of her little sister, Poppy, now two and a half. They filled their home with laughter, love, and the comfort of their dogs, Roger and Clementine, and their orange cat, Lasagna.

But on April 10th, 2025, life changed again. Olive’s leg pain revealed a heartbreaking relapse of her leukemia. She began a month of aggressive chemotherapy, but too much disease remained in her bone marrow. Now, Olive and her family are preparing for the difficult road of a summer bone marrow transplant, followed by months of immunotherapy.

This fight comes with immense challenges, as Olive’s Dad and Mom are on leave from work. Yet, despite the weight of hospital stays, financial strain, and endless medical procedures, Olive continues to show extraordinary strength.

Through every setback, Olive’s resilience shines. She is more than her diagnosis—she is a daughter, a sister, and a fearless little girl who loves her family and pets deeply. Olive’s journey is one of hope, courage, and love—a reminder that even in the hardest battles, joy and determination can light the way forward.
