The Kennedy family has always been deeply connected, shaped by shared adventures, everyday routines, and a strong sense of togetherness. When Nova was first diagnosed with medulloblastoma, life changed not just for her, but for her entire family.Treatment quickly became a central part of daily life. Hospital visits, surgeries, chemotherapy, transfusions, and ongoing maintenance care required frequent travel and constant coordination. Each stage of treatment placed new emotional and logistical demands on the household, affecting parents, siblings, and the rhythm of family life they once knew.
As Nova’s care continued, her parents balanced demanding work responsibilities while ensuring they could be present for her and for her sisters. The family learned how to adapt, finding new ways to stay connected and support one another through uncertainty. Over time, shared moments, especially summers spent together, became a vital source of comfort and strength.
In 2025, Nova experienced a relapse. Once again, the family faced the reality of returning to intensive treatment. While the diagnosis brought renewed challenges, Nova met it with the same energy, humour, and determination that has always defined her. Her strength continues to inspire those around her.Beyond the medical journey, the family also faced the ongoing non-medical costs of pediatric cancer, including travel, housing expenses, and the financial strain that comes with prolonged treatment.
Support from the Tyler Robinson Foundation helped ease these pressures, allowing the family to focus on what mattered most: being together and supporting Nova through each step of her journey.Despite the challenges they continue to face, the Kennedy family remains grounded in love, resilience, and hope as they move forward together.
